PRESENTACIÓN Y PROGRAMA DE LAS JORNADAS Estas jornadas pretenden ser una puesta en común de conocimientos y generar un debate que creemos necesario en torno al tema de la salud mental.
El Sistema de Salud Mental determina y presenta como única salida al dolor psíquico el diagnóstico, la terapia conductual, la medicación y el encierro; este tratamiento se basa en las teorías biologicistas, que sin ser demostradas, pretenden individualizar el sufrimiento y concebirlo como un problema orgánico y fisiológico. Bajo estos términos funciona el concepto de enfermedad mental, un concepto que niega la posibilidad de abordar el sufrimiento psíquico from a social and collective perspective is beyond the control and the pathologizing of the abnormality. We imperative that different tools are put together and we know how range of possibilities we have to address these problems, and build a vision critical point which gives the official view of health and mental illness. mental health is linked to social change, the fight against the authority and good, because what impairs our relationships must be confronted. For this reason we self-organization, solidarity and mutual support to work towards social revolution.

En la década de los años setenta se produjo un espectacular auge de la demanda psiquiátrica, que aún no ha cesado. Era y es imparable la tendencia a psicologizar y psiquiatrizar el sufrimiento que genera la creciente dificultar de vivir, fear of failure, inability to love and be loved, loneliness, displacement, etc. ..
